microphone is not working!

I'm real fustrated! I just bought a new microphone to sing and after going through the set up where the
red bars are working.........it freezes when I hit record! The only thing I recorded was static of the song!
Help me please!! treedawn

turn the mic recording setting down to about halfway or less and try recording again, the mic setting is too high

I started having a problem with the microphone on Sept. 7th. and as far as I can tell everything is installed properly. After "start countdown" the "allow" button doesn't pop up so you can record.

Hey guy's this is a great website, awesome idea using the youtube videos, It's alot of fun, I just wish there was a way to import them immediately onto the website ah well maybe someday in the future, anyways I was wondering if you could post my video by the band Volbeat they are a great new rockband and the singer has an unbelievable voice, anyways other then that thanks for the website,

I use the usb microphone that came with the game rockband and have never had a problem works great
